RIIS Summer Camp is Seeking Outstanding Undergraduates Nationwide

RIIS hosts a summer camp for outstanding undergraduates in July 9-12, 2017, to provide for top undergraduate students keen on furthering their study and broadening their academic perspectives.

Overview:

The RIIS Summer Camp is open for talented and strongly motivated junior school students from all across China. This year, a highly selected group of students will be invited to join a three-day rigorous program. During these days of activities, students can interact and exchange in depth with renowned professors and industrial elites, both domestic and overseas through lectures, interactive salons and quality-expanding training activities. Camp activities are geared towards sparking creativity in students rather than facts gathering. At the conclusion of the Camp, participants with outstanding performance can lock early for the Center’s “Exam free admission to MSD & Ph.D. program” 2018 quota.

The 2017 camp will provide students with accommodation and reimburse transportation expenses.

About Us:

The Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Science(RIIS) aims to facilitate interdisciplinary communication and development as well as foster top interdisciplinary talents. It is equipped with an outstanding faculty team including more than ten Ph.D. from renowned universities such as Stanford University both home and abroad. RIIS is an umbrella institute hosting five research organizations, namely Research Center for Management Science and Information Analytics, The LEAVES International Parallel Computing Optimization Lab(LEAVES), Research Center for FinTech, Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, and Research Center for Sharing Economy. In addition, RIIS plans to launch a MD-PhD joint program with University of Minnesota. Working with School of Information Management and Engineering, RIIS will be devoted to building a cultivation base for top talents.
